Case Scenario Challenge

 Scene1:

    This scenario manifest all of the media literacy, information literacy and technology literacy. Judging from the dialogue of Mark, it really shows that no matter how we only want to search the credible and significant information there will always be an unwelcome information that we will come across because of the media. Evaluating the validity and using the information indicates media literacy and information literacy. Knowing how to use the advance feature of search engine or software apps is because of the help of technology literacy, computer literacy and internet literacy. These grade 11 STEM students know how to judge and acquire correct information with the use of technology. Understanding the insights of context and having the wisdom in doing research is very important in Media, Information and Technology literacy.

Scene 2:

    Jeffry shows the characteristics of a media and technology literate. Using visuals such as infographic poster or data visualization is under the media literacy. Any source of reliable information is an example of media and using a graphic organizer or understanding the technology that he learnt from his teacher in junior high explains that he is a technology literate.

Scene 3:

    The media literacy, technology literacy and information literacy are being shown on this scenario. Jenny just saw a post in social media then she suddenly panic about that thing. She didn't even think about checking the reliability and validity of the post. I know that sometimes there are some news that will make you feel so nervous or unsafe but we should always think and analyze if that news is credible because nowadays we are always surrounded by media and unwanted information that will make us feel distracted and stress. Be careful on social media because it is full of fake news and always check the credibility of the post to prevent the rapid increase of false information.
