Similarities and Differences of Media Literacy, Information Literacy and Technology Literacy

1. What are the three most important things you learned about the lesson today?
In today's lesson I have learned so many things like the base word of the "media" is from the word "mediate" that means receiving information or entertainment but the point is it is not the most important thing that I learned today. The lesson earlier was about the similarities and differences of media, information and technology literacy. The differences about data, information, knowledge, insight and wisdom are the one of the things that I really remember from our discussion. Insight refers to the deeper understanding than knowledge, you really understand the information that you read or researched and the wisdom is about the action that is base on your understanding or insights. You act and judge base on what you learned. I also learn that media literacy will help us to avoid fake news and understand or evaluate the credibility of a media message. We also experience information overload that is very stressful for us but media literacy and information literacy will help us how to manage and evaluate if the information is important.

2. Why this lesson is important nowadays?
This lesson is very important nowadays because we are always surrounded by media but all of the information that surround us is not always correct. This lesson helps us to critically evaluate the information that we always encounter in our daily lives.

3. How can you show to other people that you are media and information literate?
Listening and reading to news and articles does not make you become a media and information literature. You need to recognize the truth behind every articles and news that you read. Understanding and analyzing the context is very important to find the truth. also, creating valid information is important in media and information literacy.
