Why do you think fake news are proliferating nowadays?

        As you can see, everyone has a social media account on some social media platforms or network like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and many more. Social media delivers entertainment and news for everyone. It connects all of us and shows some information that is irrelevant for us like FAKE NEWS. Authors and publishers of fake news aims to spread false information like a real virus. The use of social media really affects the proliferation of fake news because the internet is the channel or bridge of the publisher to spread false information. Being a responsible media user will help all of us to stop the widespread of fake news. Unlike before, newspapers or articles and televisions are the main source of reliable information. They don't have the internet to surf and check the correct news like we have. It is effortless for us to obtain some news unlike before but we should always check if it is a legit source of information to stop the fake news.

        

What do you think are the three best ways to protect yourself from these fake news?

            I would say that these are the best three ways to protect all of us in fake news:

    1. Always check the article if it comes from a reliable or legal site.

        Checking the background of the article really help you to know if it is credible. There are some situations where you are reading some article about politics or economy information but you are surfing on fake site. If something like this happens to you then you just wasted your precious time in reading false information.

    2.  Check if the news is biased.

        Reading a biased information is not really a credible information. Reliable information should always be balance. Other people's opinion and judgement will not help you to acquire useful information or message.

    3. Always find the ultimate truth.

        Delivering the truth is the most important skill to become a good journalist. All of the publishers need to find the truth to publish a credible information. There are always two sides of situation on finding the credible information. The other person's idea and the other person's judgement but in the middle you can always find the truth.
