 1.  Why is it important to study and preserve these indigenous knowledge of Philippine ethnic groups?

        Studying indigenous knowledge of Philippine ethnic groups guide us to their native knowledge and folk knowledge. This information tells the origin and truth about some things. The indigenous knowledge is a necessary information in agriculture, food preparation, education and many more. Their existence is relevant in preserving the nature and producing natural products. If we want to protect the indigenous tribes or groups, we really need to study and understand their indigenous knowledge to help us create an adaptive idea or system for them. It is also a great idea to involve to their indigenous events or culture to deeply understand it.

2. What is the most important thing that you learned in this lesson?

     The most important thing is the fact that tribes and their indigenous knowledge is crucial for maintaining the condition of agriculture and environment. Preserving the environment and the culture of indigenous people are very important. Understanding and respecting each other's culture will help us to have a greater society. Studying the other culture helps you to understand and explore the different side of world.

3. How can you apply that in learning in real life?

        Indigenous knowledge is a vast source of information derive from the experiences from origin or pre-historic era. It can help you in daily life, agriculture and education. Now that I am aware of the importance of indigenous knowledge to our environment, we should always respect their culture, style, attitude and many more. Indigenous knowledge also helps us to make decisions about life because their knowledge is based on their experiences.
